With 23 years of veterinary patient care and Fear Free certification, I've spent my entire career handling animals with the exact same gentleness, patience, and devotion I give my own pets. Every dog, every cat, every squishy bulldog wrinkle and every anxious little beach bum has been treated like family — because to me, they are.
I've always been their advocate, their voice, their protector. I've stood up for them at all costs, even when it meant upsetting people, even when it meant being labeled 'intimidating,' even when it meant being the one who said no to anything that wasn't in the pet's best interest. Not everyone liked me for it. But they respected me. Because they knew — and still know — that very few people possess my level of patient care, knowledge, and unwavering loyalty to the animals in my hands.

Jennifer's career has spanned ICU, emergency, internal medicine, and critical care — giving her a level of medical insight and calm confidence that sets Sandbar & Suds apart from traditional grooming services. Her background means every pet is handled with expert awareness, from anxious and elderly dogs to medically complex cases that require a gentle, knowledgeable touch. Safety, comfort, and compassion guide every appointment. Jennifer shares her life with bulldogs, cane corsos, and horses — giving her firsthand understanding of both sensitive breeds and strong working companions. Here, every pet is treated like family.
